Assistant Waiter(Male)

Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic, service-oriented, and customer-focused Assistant Waiters to join our Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will assist in delivering exceptional dining experiences by supporting the service team, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring efficient food and beverage service in accordance with company standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

• * Greet guests warmly and professionally using approved service etiquette.
• * Assist the Head Waiter in delivering food and beverages according to approved SOPs.
• * Serve food and beverages from the kitchen and service bar to guest tables accurately and efficiently.
• * Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items to assist guests effectively.
• * Provide prompt, attentive, and courteous service throughout the guest dining experience.
• * Organize and clean assigned service areas in accordance with approved SOPs.
• * Set up the restaurant before service, including opening and securing outdoor umbrellas.
• * Organize service stations and consoles (Pandora/Service Console) according to company standards.
• * Clear, clean, and reset tables after each course and upon guest departure.
• * Complete all opening, closing, and daily side duties assigned by management.
• * Monitor service supplies and replenish stock as required.
• * Clean and maintain indoor dining areas, including vacuuming chairs and upholstered seating before service.
• * Maintain clean, organized, and hygienic workstations in compliance with food safety regulations.
• * Operate restaurant equipment safely and according to manufacturer guidelines.
• * Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance in line with company grooming standards.
• * Adhere to all company policies, operational procedures, and quality standards.
• * Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in accordance with Kuwait health regulations.
• * Report accidents, injuries, equipment malfunctions, and unsafe conditions immediately.
• * Ensure the safety of guests and staff by identifying and preventing hazards within the dining area.
• * Follow all company safety and security procedures at all times.
• * Work collaboratively with the Head Waiter, kitchen team, and fellow service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• * Maintain positive and professional working relationships with colleagues and management.
• * Attend all required training sessions, departmental briefings, and meetings.
• * Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• * Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
• * Basic understanding of food and beverage service procedures.
• * Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• * Positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service.
• * Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
